Huddle
"You teach what you know, but you reproduce what you are."
Howard Hendricks
Discipleship is about long obedience in the same direction. It's a journey toward the cross. A journey that looks like one person, following the person in front of them, who is following the person in front of them, who is ultimately also following the person in front of them. When Jesus found the disciples and issued the infamous invitation, "come and follow me," he also set in motion the "system" in which we would follow for the rest of our lives. Discipleship is highly relational and deeply personal. It's the way we come together to spend time with Jesus, to learn from Jesus, how to be like Jesus. (A.W. Tozer) An Anthem House huddle is a small group of individuals with 1-2 leaders, who come together for a pre-determined period of time with the sole focus being on personal maturity in Christ. Huddles are both organized and organic, meaning you may find them on a Sunday morning or by signing up to join, but you also may happen upon them through your time at Anthem.
