OUR PROMISE TO YOU
We are so excited to serve your family each week in Anthem Kids! We strive to create fun and engaging environments in which your child will learn valuable life lessons, hear about the love of God, and always have a great time.
We know that there is no Junior Holy Spirit! With that in mind, and no matter the age, we empower kids in their faith to believe for the impossible!
Anthem Kids is way more than childcare while the adults have real church. We bring concepts down to kids’ levels developmentally but we take to heart where Jesus talks about the kingdom of Heaven belonging to the kids!
We partner with parents in introducing the love of Jesus to their kids! We know that with a relationship with Him as their foundation, the skies the limit!
FIRST TIME GUESTS
We can't wait to meet you! You'll find our team ready to greet you at check in!
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All Anthem Kids volunteers pass a background check, and we employ an off-duty police officer as well as our own security team to ensure your child’s safety. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.
Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we need the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our Anthem Kids database to help maintain our secure check-in system.
The biblical basis for dedicating a child is found in 1 Samuel 1:27-28, where a godly woman named Hannah prayed year after year for God to give her a child. He answered her prayers and she gave birth to a son, whom she named Samuel. When Samuel was born, Hannah prayed these words: “I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.”
At Anthem House Church, child dedications are a time for parents, like Hannah, to commit themselves to raising their child God’s way. They are a joint expression of a parent’s desire to raise Godly children and our commitment as a church to empowering parents in that calling.
Child dedications are a powerful time for parents to embrace the responsibility they’ve been given by God and to catch a vision of the impact they can make in their child’s life. We make these events special by encouraging the whole family to get involved, having some fun, offering family pictures, and occasionally making a dad cry. We want this to be an event parents will always remember.
Child dedications also provide us with an opportunity to express our commitment as a church to helping families raise God-honoring kids. And we count it an honor to be entrusted with that incredible privilege.
We invite all families with children to participate in the dedication. Child dedications are scheduled periodically throughout the year.
